Helicopter Charter in Nepal, Rescue & Evacuation, Heli Tour in Nepal
Mitra Prasad Ghimire has been rescued this morning from Bakhachaur, Aiselukharka (5800~ft). As we were told, a tree fell on his foot yesterday afternoon at about 1500 hours and he was badly injured.
Captain Steven immediately took off on our Bell (206bIII) helicopter from Kathmandu as soon as they called for rescue and flew him here for proper medical attention.
We wish him the earliest recovery.
As 350 B2 Helicopter Landed at TIA
Fishtail Air’s new addition AS350 B2 Helicopter (9N-AKA) has been added to its fleet. The new helicopter landed at12:27 pm. Professional team of Captain Ashish Sherchan, Captain Yogendra Mukhiya and Engineer Rtd. Col. Mr. Om P Shrestha ferried the helicopter from Singapore. AS350 B2 has been bought from Italy. With added new fleet, the company now possesses the highest number of powerful operating helicopters in Nepal. Company plans to station this new helicopter in Pokhara base to serve clientele in and around Pokhara valley.

AS350 B2 Helicopter is one of the most powerful machines and holds its record of safe performance up to an altitude of 20,000ft. These machines have proved to be very efficient in various types of missions being operated in Nepal.

Our team of Capt. Ashish, Capt. Mukhiya and Col. O.P. Shrestha left for Singapore to fly our AS 350 B2 Helicopter 9N-AKA to Nepal. Our latest addition to the fleet had been bought from Italy from where it had been shipped to Singapore. They will ferry the helicopter from Singapore for Nepal on the 14th of March and will be here by the 17th of the same via Phuket and Yangoon.
We at Fishtail are eagerly awaiting the arrival. We wish them all the luck for the journey.
This would be our second addition this season after our B3 landed from India on the 27th of February.
