Bishal Magar, a Nepali guide was rescued from Manang Area.
Bishal was on his expedition when he suffered from major altitude sickness. When we were notified of the rescue Captain Deepak immediately took off with co-pilot Ranjan Limbu from Kathmandu. They headed directly for Bhrikuti Base camp where Bishal was found stuck in a glacier at 17500ft, unconscious and in a very critical condition of health.
The two pilots together lifted him to the helicopter and flew him directly to Kathmandu where an ambulance was on standby to drive him to the hospital without delay.
Wishes to Bishal for resumption of health.
