Mountain flight extravaganza for South Americans!

Heli sightseeing @ Syangboche

The mean machine 9N-AJI was flown by Capt. Deepak JB Rana this very day when the weather was on our side.  Our Brasilian consorts Mr. Eugenio Fuser Jr. and Mr. Pedro Paulo Drummond also entered our ‘Lucky Few’ list as they enjoyed the panoramic natural artistry of the King of Naturally Nepal- The Himalayas. This incredible flight started from the capital to Lukla and subsequently to Syangboche (3841m). After a stop at Syangboche they were flown again around the Khumbu Valley through the shade of Kala Patthar and then back to Syangboche- Lukla and thereafter back to Kathmandu. This is still one of the most delightful flights you could choose.

Thank you for flying with us and we hope you carry the memories and recognition of our country within you.  Happy Nepal Tourism Year 2011!

Bryan Adams eve for Some, dark 19th for others!

While some people were lucky to win a free ticket to Bryan Adams’ concert for the eve, Mrs. Bishnu Devi Poudel from Birgunj was ill fated this day as she had a major motorbike accident.  She suffered from severe head injuries and was enduring tremendous amount of pain before Fishtail Air’s 9N- AIK commanded by Capt. Siddhartha Gurung flew for immediate rescue. She was flown directly to Neuro Hospital at Bansbari, Kathmandu where she was enrolled in the Emergency without delay.

Meanwhile a similar accident took place at Bhairahawa and Capt Siddhartha flew on the same aircraft straight away to pick up the patient who was also grieving severe head injuries. This patient was also flown directly to Neuro Hospital ‘Emergency’ immediately.

We thank Captain Siddhartha for flying both times and we here at Fishtail Air are glad of the service we can provide to our people in times of need. We wish both the patients the earliest recovery.
