Mrs. Roshani Acharya has given birth to a child onboard of Fishtail Air’s Helicopter 9N AIK flying from Diktel to Kathmandu, on Valentine’s day (14th Feb 2010) around 3:15 pm. She was being flown to Kathmandu when this rare incident occurred in mid air above Ramechhap. A baby’s cry distracted pilot Siddartha Jung Gurung who turned around just to find Mrs. Acharya holding her newly born baby in her arms.
As soon as the helicopter landed in Kathmandu Fishtail Air made sure that Mrs Acharya and her baby were rushed to Om Hospital. Conditions of both the mother and the newly born are said to be stable.
Fishtail Air Family would like to congratulate both the Mr and Mrs Acharya for their newly born baby boy, and wish a good health for both mother and son.
